Why travel?
Traveling professionals live relatively expense free.  Travel expenses are reimbursed. And most housing costs are taken care of for you.  Travel assignments allow you the freedom of having enough time and money to follow your passions in pursuing your dreams of adventure, travel, and professional growth.

How do I become a traveler with RN Exclusive?
To become an RN Exclusive traveler, a minimum of one to two years of recent clinical experience in your specialty is needed and a current license/certification.  A license and/or certification must be obtained in the state you wish to work and proof of the right to work in the United States is required. In addition you will need to complete all the application requirements for RN Exclusive. Also required are copies (within one year) of physical, proof of PPD, immunization records, CPR and or ACLS/PALS. We will assist you in obtaining the necessary documents required.

What is the length of an assignment?
Assignments typically vary from 8 to 13 weeks in length.  You will be guaranteed 40 – 60 hours per week for the duration of your assignment.  Upon completion of your assignment you have the option to renew or extend your contract at the same facility, travel to a new facility, or take some time off.  You may want to simply return home to travel at another date.  Use your accumulated PTO and earn your pay check between assignments.  It’s always your choice.

Am I allowed to bring my spouse, children, and pets?
Yes! Many of our travelers take on assignments with family, friends, and/or pets. Once you’ve selected a destination, we will assist in any way to ensure meeting your housing needs. We will provide you with a free one- bedroom apartment.  If you request a two-bedroom apt there will be additional fees incurred depending on the location of your assignment. A pet deposit may be required.

How will I be paid?
You will be on RN Exclusive’s payroll and you will be paid on a weekly basis.  Direct deposit is available for your convenience.  Pay stubs will be mailed out to you every pay period.

What are the State Licensing Requirements?
A license for the state in which you will be working is required. Your recruiter will assist you with your licensing requirements. For more information you may visit our State licensure section of the website.

Will I have health insurance between assignments?
Yes. You will have insurance coverage for up to 30 days between assignments.
